some medications are covered by the PBS and some are not....this realy depends on the GP to decide what medications you need to use... medications that are not covered by PBS, we have to pay full amount, so will depend on the price of the medications.. some cost less but some are expensive... these are not claimable from medicare unless you have private insurance such as medibank then may claim tru them...
For PBS medications, if the meds cost more than 33.30, we only have to pay 33.30 the rest pay by gov.. if the meds cost less than 33.30, then we have to pay what it cost...
