这样能够免交地税？

有敌人告知我说假如让中介把投资房租约签成十二月30日住手，31号这天空档，再由次年1月1日开始，就能免掉本应交纳的地税？

请问各位高手是这样吗？持分请教。

no way, it is easy to change from exempt to non exempt, the same can not be said if it is the other way around.
We had a client, who was legitimately moving to a house that was previously rented, the OSR requested proof that he actually moved in prior to 31st Dec.

As all he had was an electricity bill started in mid Jan, the OSR rejected the exemption application.
