Transmission Mount Replacement $552

Mitsubishi Lancer 2010, 173,000 Kms
Recently done 180,000 service with Mitsubishi Dealer.
Was told the transmission mount cracked and would need a replacement in next service which cost $552.

The engine does not shake much when I change from driving mode to reverse mode.
Not sure whether should get it replaced or not?

The car drives smoothly and does not feel anything wrong.

Any suggestions?

You’d better ask the mechanic to justify the repair, such as what are consequences in future if it was not repaired now. Then you can decide based on the reply.

Forum viewers haven’t seen your car, can’t really give you a definitive answer.
