Generally, you are an Australian resident for tax purposes if any of the following applies:
you have always lived in Australia
you moved to Australia and live here permanently
you have been in Australia continuously for six months or more, and for most of the time you have been
in the same job, and
living in the same place
you have been in Australia for more than half of the financial year, unless
your usual home is overseas, and
you do not intend to live in Australia.
象我去年来这里,并非PR,也被问到海内支出呢,感到十分不解的是, 我即便有海内支出那也是在来澳以前积攒的,跟这里的支出彻底没无关系,并非Australiansourced income and gains,莫非也要交税不可,这样一来本国人来澳任务不是很吃亏? 比本地人交更多的税,更少的福利,乃至连之前在其余国度挣的钱都要再交税, 似乎分歧理吧!
