get a dashcam with GPS recorder.
I helped my in laws to practise driving. A dashcam is invaluable to them. It recorded the routes that give them more confidence during the exam. More importantly, it recorded the mistakes they made. As they have no idea of the mistakes they made and the critical moments were just flashed away, it is very important that they learn why I screamed at them. Once they realize their errors and understand my point, they made progress.
After they passed their exams and gained their licences, having a dashcam in the car is also very good too. As they are still very green and do not speak much English, in case they have accident, they need the footage for their powerful witness.
Therefore, I highly reco妹妹end any one to install a dashcam in their cars. As a matter of fact, all my family cars have installed two each, one in the front and one in the back.
