The digital driver licence is a new way to carry your licence on your smartphone. It’s accepted by NSW Police, and most pubs and clubs — and it’s free.
We invite you to try it. To get yours simply download the Service NSW app and log in with your MyServiceNSW Account.
Keep in Mind
It’s illegal to access your smartphone while driving or riding, including when stationary, unless you’re asked to by a police officer. Penalties apply.
We reco妹妹end you carry your plastic card as a backup while businesses get used to seeing and accepting the digital driver licence as identification.
You can access your digital driver licence even when you don’t have data coverage as long as you stay logged in to the Service NSW app.
For your digital driver licence to be valid, your smartphone screen can’t be damaged.
