newcastle uni 既有2个semester 也有3个，按照你的专业和校园。

去各学校的网站去查，很容易。

Most universities have 2 semesters, and have a su妹妹er break and winter
break for students. The su妹妹er break is roughly from end of Nov. to middle of Feb.,
and the winter break is from end of June to middle July.
In addition, during each semester, most universities have a non-teaching period that
is 1-2 weeks long, which are also holidays for students.

Some universities in Sydney have 4 semesters, which I am not very familiar with.
