Absences from Australia
From 1 January 2015, the time you are able to be temporarily absent from Australia before your eligibility for the Co妹妹onwealth Seniors Health Card is affected will increase from six weeks to 19 weeks.
Your Co妹妹onwealth Seniors Health Card will be cancelled if you remain outside Australia from longer than 19 weeks. If you lodge a claim for the Co妹妹onwealth Seniors Health Card on your return to Australia we will assess any account-based pensions you own under the deeming rules. This may affect your eligibility for your card.
