学校开学想把孩子term 4都留家里， 学校说按family holiday来算， 还是要Mark absence。对孩子有什么影响吗？

What if I do not want my child to return to School?

We recognise that there will be varying levels of anxiety about returning to on-campus learning. Should parents choose not to send their child to School they need to be aware that;

The School is required to mark your child as absent on the Attendance Roll.
The School will not be providing a full Remote Learning Program for your child.
The School will endeavour to support your child with learning materials as they would if your child was absent due to an extended sickness, family holiday etc.

这是学校的原话， 我看政府网站说缺席要和学校沟通好，不然学校会给warning letter 之类的。 但是学校和我们说就是按照family holiday 来算， 这样的话会影响孩子的report 吗
