卧龙岗车祸：霍顿车里没人，十二岁男孩死于别处

昨夜卧龙岗产生车祸，一位男孩死亡，警方曾经开端了调查。

10月4日周二清晨1：35摆布，一辆霍顿Barina 在 Memorial Drive 向北行驶时，在Towradgi 区Towradgi Road 穿插路口撞上红绿灯。

左近的Corrimal 派出所的警察听到了车祸的声响，迅速做出了应对，但是到场后发现霍顿车里没有人。

警方设立了犯法现场，由车祸调查科的专业人员进行勘察。

清晨2点摆布，接到报案说一位12岁轻伤男孩去到Balgownie 区一户人家，紧急办事赶去了那里。

新州救护车急救员对男孩做了救治，然后把他送去了卧龙岗病院，男孩在病院被宣布死亡。

警方在那户人家设立了犯法现场，调查男孩的死亡与前述车祸的关联。

警方征集车祸的目睹者、行车记载仪视频，以及男孩受伤的线索。

Crash Investigation Unit Detective Acting Inspector Jason Hogan said paramedics found a 12-year-old boy with “very serious injuries” at the home, which they believe was a friend’s address.

“He was dropped off at a house and the occupants of the house called for assistance,” he said.

The boy was rushed to Wollongong Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Hogan said police are appealing for information on a silver car that dropped the boy off at the Balgownie address.

He was unable to confirm if the boy was known to police, but said: “We’ll be making all lines of inquiry that we can into the 12-year-old boy, what he was doing out at night and his movements.”

Police were unable to confirm if the silver car was involved in the earlier crash or if the boy was in the Barina when it hit the traffic lights.

“Police are appealing for anyone that might have witnessed the black Barina over the long weekend as it was reported stolen on Saturday afternoon,” Hogan said.

Hogan also asked for anyone with social media content of the crash or silver car on Tuesday morning to contact police.
